Saint Hilaire / Lange National Park

The park protects 24.500 ha of the pioneer formation ecosystems mangrove and restinga such as submontane and montane tropical rainforest which covers the Neoproterozoic rocks of Serra da Prata, local name given to a portion of the Serra do Mar sea mountain chain in this region.
Serra da Prata is one of the massifs that constitute the Paranaguá batholith, an enormous granitic rock that intruded the costeiro terrain in the southern Ribeira Belt at the end of the Brasiliano - Pan African orogenic cycle. The main ecotourism attractions of the park are the hiking trails that lead to the summit of Torre da Prata, with 1.502 meters the highest point of the park such as the Limeira mountain bike trail – Adventure Travel / Brazil.
