Brazil Tours / History – Prehistorical cave paintings, dated twelve thousand years ago, give evidence for the presence of prehistorical hunters and collectors in a land which is now Brazil.

Until today, the migration via Behring street is the most accepted theory with regard to their origin. There were found carbon pieces with an approximate age of 48 thousand years at Serra da Capivara National Park (Caatinga) but it is unclear if they were formed by campfires of prehistorical hunters or by natural burnings.
