São Paulo Travel

Brazil Travel / Ecotourism – The basin of São Paulo is located at 760 m altitude, at the Tropic of Capricorn (23,5° S), in the extrem north of the subtropical climate zone. The basin is limited by Serra da Cantareira in the north and Serra do Mar in the south (see also São Paulo Green Belt Biosphere Reserve).

The climate of São Paulo is characterized by a warm and humid summer and a pronounced cool and dry season in winter (see climate diagram). A atmospheric humidity increases the sensation of chilliness in winter. Strong daily temperature variations (up to 15°C) are common in São Paulo, bringing on easily a cold – Brazil Travel / São Paulo.
